Our Conference Schedule Policy

The sessions for the WritersUA Conference begin at 9:00am Monday morning and end at 4:15pm Wednesday afternoon. We pride ourselves on providing hot topics and top speakers through to the final adjournment. Unlike many other conferences, we do not shortchange the last day of the event. If you are able to arrange to stay for the full conference, you will not be disappointed!

We looked up several of the air fares (Nov. 1) available through Expedia Travel for the Conference week. The roundtrips (Sat.-Wed.) from most gateway cities to Seattle (SEA) are fairly inexpensive.

Travel Information

The Seattle-Tacoma International Airport offers many choices for flights from throughout North America and many international cities. Taxis cost approximately $35-$40 depending on traffic. Shuttle Express offers a shared ride for approximately $25-$30 and requires a reservation. The Metro bus service #194 leaves every fifteen to thirty minutes for a forty-minute ride to the City Center. The Westin is three blocks from the Westlake Center stop. The fare is $2.50 peak times.
